To go from feeling diffuse and scattered with major feelings of discomfort...
Then the next day feeling totally fine, no longer out of sorts...

Resistance had got a hold on me...
For a short time I felt so free...
Free will was in my grasp...
Daily exercise...
Daily writing...
Eating healthy...

Now, that which I've been trying to abstain from, has got a hold on me...
I have to remember to take the light hearted approach...
The bigger deal I make of it, the bigger deal it becomes, the more polarizing, the more forceful resistance will rear its ugly head...

Stay the course... Keep putting in the work...
Clouds will begin to clear...  Even if only temporarily...
The clear light will bring life...  Until the rain comes in again...

There's joy in the process itself...

Opening Our Eyes

In many ways Beauty is much like Love...
Sometimes we have to open our eyes to what's already there in order to truly see...

Photography has encouraged me to keep looking...
The more open I am to seeing, the more beauty and love seem to show themselves...

I see you in the unseen, the unsung...
I see you in the everyday, the little gestures...
You are not Romance or Eros as many have mistaken you to be...
Though the deepest versions of you may blossom from Romance...
The willingness to see the entire truth of a person...
The willingness to keep an open door, to remain inviting despite any hardship...
The willingness to value and work through the imperfections...
The willingness to shed light, to offer guidance while allowing for free will...
The willingness to accept light, understanding that during times of conflict,
We are fighting alongside, not against...
You are an ongoing process, and each time we are open to you,
We are renewed, we are invigorated...
I recognize you by your many names...
The more I know you...  The more I see you...  The more I feel you...

When we truly know Love...
There is no Envy...
There's only Celebration...
We understand Abundance...
We understand that Grasping only Closes Ourselves
From the Infiniteness that already exists.

I'm searching for something...
But I don't know what it is until I see it...

Love is like light
It's like truth beckoning...

Unchained

Do we jealously guard that which we cannot possess?
Or do we celebrate it and give it freely in all directions?

We love not so others can feel love,
But so others can be more free to love.
That is the goal.

When we start placing a Price on our Actions,
We are no longer living in Abundance...

Our Inner Savage

The silent savage that beats within
Acting in ways not considered "a sin"
Quenching a thirst in order to feed
Unable to see the other's need

To flesh then bone it will consume
Unable to fathom the suffering that looms
Justifying actions by claiming the norm
Guiltless destruction a blood-filled storm
